Das Symposion Lindabrunn wurde 1967 als Steinbildhauer Symposion gegründet, und wird seither als Ort künstlerischer Ausseinandersetzung und als offener Entwicklungsraum für zeitgenössische Kunst geführt.

Das Besondere des Ortes ist, dass sich hier Kunst- und Naturraum in vielfältiger Weise überlagern. Dies gilt für seine Geschichte ebenso wie für aktuelle und zukunftsentscheidende Fragestellungen in Kunst und Gesellschaft. Seltene Biodiversität und Kunstgeschichte sind hier nah verwoben. Digitale Kunst- und Raumproduktion greift in analoge Werkbegriffe und Spazierrouten von lokalen bis internationalen Musiker*innen, Flaneur*innen, Künstler*innen, Picknick-Genießer*innen, Hacker*innen, Schüler*innen und vielen anderen mehr.
Das Symposion Lindabrunn bietet in verschiedenen Veranstaltungsformaten ein zeitgemäßes Programm für Kunst und Diskurs und unterstützt Künstler*innen bei der Entwicklung von Projekten die sich mit dem Ort oder den Fragen die der Ort aufwirft auseinandersetzen.

Symposion Lindabrunn was founded in 1967 as the Stone Sculptors’ Symposium, and has since been run as a place for artistic debate and as an open development space for contemporary art.

The special feature of the place is that here art and natural space overlap in many ways. This applies to its history as well as to current and future-defining issues in art and society. Rare biodiversity and art history are closely interwoven here. Digital art and space production intertwines with analog work concepts and walking routes of local to international musicians*, flaneurs*, artists*, picnic enjoyers*, hackers*, students* and many more.
The Symposion Lindabrunn offers a contemporary program for art and discourse in various event formats and supports artists in the development of projects that deal with the place or the questions that the place raises.
